For heavy duty Road or Drag Racing, the ACT Heavy Duty Solid 6 Puck Clutch kit for your 2004-06 Scion tC is your answer. The Heavy Duty Pressure Plate increased clamp load between 20% and 50% with a stock to moderate pedal feel, while the Solid Hub 6 Pad Disc increases torque capacity, allows you faster shifts, reduced inertia, and has very good durability but shortened spline life. By using the 6 puck disc versus the 4 puck more heat can be absorbed. This Disc does have harsh engagement with some chatter, but then again it’s for serious racing not cruising. This disc comes with SFI certification for racing your tC. |
